The hotel location is nice for the boardwalk. No fresh fruit (canned) instant iced tea.
She doesn't eat flounder in a cream sauce.
Wife only eats fish - nothing for her except salad with shredded cheddar. I had steamed mussels and chilled shrimp (both were good). Not affecting my rating (we did not stay at the Trop for the buffet). From quick bites to gourmet meals 4) Insanely huge gym/wellness facility (affiliated with regional hospital network). We had to ask staff throughout our stay to find restaurants/showroom/boardwalk/our parking lot 2) Everyone had a great attitude 3) self-contained resort with everything you need. As other reviews stated: 1) property is HUGE - they need to give guests a concise layout of the resort. The elevator stops right near the Showroom entrance - very convenient. It was worth the additional rate to get this room ($50 more/night). Bath had shower-only with modern fixtures, large vanity. Lighting in bed & bath were excellent, furnishings were functional and in very good condition. This tower has the newly renovated rooms. Stayed in the North Tower, 11th floor, King bed. We stayed at the Trop because we had tix to their showroom event.
